Pay with Autocharge
1. Plug in the connector you want to use into your vehicle.
2. Lean back. Payment is fully automagic! It will take approximately 30 seconds for charging to start.
Note: You can only activate Autocharge in the Fastned app.

Pay with the Fastned app
1. Open the app
Click the big yellow ‘Charge’ button in the bottom menu.
2. Select your connector
The connector cables are numbered. If your connector doesn’t show in your app, enter the 5 or 7 digit code you find near the charger screen or on top of the connector.
3. Plug the connector into your vehicle
You should now see that your EV is charging, on the charger screen, in the Fastned app, and on your car dashboard.

Activate Autocharge while you charge
Activate Autocharge as you charge. If your car is compatible, you’ll get the option to activate Autocharge during your next session. Simply confirm and Autocharge is activated.
Save time selecting your charger
Allow the app access to your location, so it can check the Fastned station where you’re charging. This way, the charger you want to select should show up immediately. Saves you from having to type in the charger code.

The Fastned app offers an overview of all the ways to charge your vehicle. Look for 'Charging Info' in the 'Vehicle' menu.
Pay with a charge card
1. Tap your charge card over the charge card reader
On some chargers, you will have to press the "Start" button first. You should hear a “beep” to confirm payment. If not, swipe again.
2. Select the connector you want to use
Make sure the type and number on the connector (e.g. “2”) matches the type and number on the charger screen.
3. Plug the connector into your vehicle
It will take up to 30 seconds for your car to start charging.

Your charge card provider might charge a different price
Your charge card provider might charge you a different price than what we charge them (in charging as in life, you can only control so much). Check their website for info on pricing and conditions.
Your charge card provider does the billing
When you pay with a charge card, you or your fleet manager will be billed via your charge card provider.
Pay with a bank card
1. Hold your contactless debit/credit card or mobile wallet against the payment terminal to make a €/£/CHF 40 reservation. After your charge session, we will change the reservation into a deduction of the due amount.
2. Select the connector you want to use
Make sure the type and number on the cable (e.g. “2”) matches the type and number on the screen.
3. Plug the connector into your vehicle
It will take up to 30 seconds for your car to start charging.
Fast tips for paying with a bank card
For debit and credit cards, a reservation is required
For debit and credit card payments, a €/£/CHF 40 reservation is required. After your charging session, we will only charge your payment method for the amount that you have charged. The remainder of the reservation will be cancelled. Depending on your bank, this usually happens within a week.
We support Apple Pay
Yes, our chargers support Apple Pay. No need for fidgeting with your wallet or bank card; an elegant hover of your phone will do.
Ending your session
1. To end your session, press “Stop” on the charger screen or using the button below the screen
2. Remove the connector from your vehicle and return it to the charger
Note: If you paid using a charge card, you might need to tap your charge card on the charge card reader once more to stop your session.
