We’ve been building and operating our network of nature inspired fast charging stations since 2012. In that time, Fastned has grown exponentially yet we’ve maintained our award winning level of reliability and service.
With the fast charging market in full development, now is a great time to consider becoming a Fastned location partner. We are keen to talk to private landowners, retail businesses, project developers, and municipalities about developing locations and building benefits for everyone.

Quality sites are usually in busy urban centres or just off major highway junctions. “Destination" locations with good levels of traffic are also relevant. When considering locations to develop a Fastned station, we always check it if meets our standard requirements.

Standard requirements for all station models
Parameters
- Average daily traffic volume: >25,000 vehicles per day for main arterial roads
- Visibility: All potential locations should be clearly visible from the reference road (either motorway or arterial road)
- Ideally our locations are within 2-3 minutes walking distance for amenities, such as food and beverages, and toilet facilities. On our large developments we consider the placement of our own dedicated toilet facilities with coffee and food vending. This is depending upon available space and technical conditions.
Particularities
- 24/7 public charging.
- We’re looking for plots of land with a 20 year lease. Direct purchase is also possible.
- Fastned takes care of the entire process, including permits, power connections, construction and finally operation of the site.
