Use our app to benefit from discounts and subscriptions

Fastned can only apply discounts when you use a direct payment method in the Fastned app (using any payment method other than third-party charge cards). Set your payment method in the app via Profile > Wallet and subscribe via Profile > Prices and subscriptions.

Avoid charge cards for the best price (discounts cannot be applied)

If you use a charge card, you always pay the provider of the card. Third-party card providers can add additional fees and charge a higher price.

You can pay with most charge cards

Fastned supports most charge cards and frequently adds new providers
Simply add your charge card in the Fastned app via Profile > Wallet, or activate the charger by tapping the charge-card reader.

Since most charge cards are connected to the same networks, Fastned supports a wide range of charge card brands. Supported charge cards include those from the most used mobility service providers (MSPs).

If you have issues with activation, contact your charge card provider
New charge cards may need to be activated first. If your charge card does not support Fastned, please contact your provider.

All payments methods are supported through our app and Autocharge

To start charging through the Fastned app, simply add a bank account, credit card or charge card via Profile > Wallet.

Mastercard/Maestro and Visa are supported everywhere. Other supported payment methods include: Bancontact (Belgium); Klarna/Sofort (Germany); SEPA Direct Debit (Belgium, Germany, France, Italy, Netherlands, Spain); Wero/iDEAL (Netherlands).

You can pay with almost all debit/credit cards (incl. Mastercard and Visa)

You can charge with most banks and credit cards at Fastned. Add your card in the Fastned app to benefit from (free) discounts, or activate the charger by tapping the debit/credit card reader for contactless payment.

Debit/credit cards typically requires a temporary authorisation hold

Charging with a debit or credit card often requires a temporary hold on your card. The reserved amount is shown on the screen. The actual costs for your session is sent to your bank/card issuer once you're done charging. The reserved amount is usually settled or released within a day, though some banks and card issuers may take several days.

You can pay online (when other payment options aren’t possible)

When other payment options aren’t available, you can pay online by scanning the digital QR code on the charger screen. Fastned supports Mastercard/Maestro and Visa as well as American Express/AMEX.
