Fastned Gives Back on Earth Day

Earth Day, observed annually around the world on April 22, reminds us of the importance of taking care of our planet. For us, that’s our everyday mission - one fast charging station and one person switching to electric mobility at a time ⚡

For this year’s Earth Day, our internal employee group “Fastned Gives Back” rolled up their sleeves, and went outside of our offices for a special cleanup. 

In Amsterdam, 14 colleagues spent an hour picking up garbage that was scattered around our office, resulting in nine very full bags of trash 😱

Our Ghent office also participated in the cleanup day and went to a special place to do so: Gentbrugge, nearby Ghent, where Fastned will build the first ​​highway service area of the future.

Fastned Gives Back meets internally bi-monthly to think of ways to make a contribution to the communities around us. These amazing folks have already organised food and clothes donations for people in need, and made a baking sales effort fundraiser to benefit the Turkish and Syrian earthquake victims in February this year, which was matched by Fastned 🚀
