How can I keep track of the latest updates?

Please leave your e-mail address in the box at the bottom of this page.

Do I have Fastned's Bonds or do I have Fastned's DRs (Depositary Receipts)?

You have Fastned Bonds if you receive an interest payment every 3 months resulting in an annual interest of 6% or 5% over your investment.
You have DRs (Depositary receipts) if the value of your investment corrolates with the stock market price of Fastned.

What are DRs? / What are shares?

A share is a part of a company. Whether you own one single share or you own a lot of shares of a company, it means that you are co-owner of the respective company. The more shares you own, the larger your stake in the company. At Fastned we have certified our shares. This means that the foundation (FAST) owns all shares of Fastned B.V.. For every one share the foundation owns, it has issued one Depositary Receipt. These Depositary Receipts are owned by the founders of the company and all investors in the company. The foundation makes sure that Fastned acts according to its mission. A lot of well known companies use this set-up. Examples are Triodos Bank and Unilever.

What are bonds?

A bond is a loan. If you invest in a company by buying bonds from the company, you give the respective company a loan. In return for the loan, you receive something. This is the interest. This can either be fixed or variable. At Fastned, the interest is fixed at 6%  or 5% annually (based on when the investment is made).

Fastned is not currently conducting a bond issue campaign.

Based on internal investigations, we can confirm that there was no data leakage on our part: these emails seem to have been sent randomly and as far as we know, no Fastned customers have been approached. Nonetheless, we ask you to be vigilant. We will keep on monitoring this very closely.

If you receive such an email, do not engage and report it to the dedicated public service in your country.  You can also report it as spam in your email browser.

What is the value of my bonds?

We keep the register in our own administration. Because of this, the value of your bonds remains at the nominal value (EUR 1.000 per bond). If you would like to sell your bonds you have to agree on a price with the buying party. This price might differ from the nominal value.

Where can I find an annual overview of my Bonds?

If the bonds are a private investment Fastned does not distribute an annual overview. You can use the confirmation of the issue. This confirmation names, among other things, the value of your investment. The mentioned value is part of your capital.

If you invested through a business please contact us through [email protected]

At what bank account do I receive the interest and the final payment?

You receive the interest and the repayment of your investment at the bank account from which you invested or the bank account you have changed it to.

If you would like to change your bank account, an e-mail with your current and your new bank account number will do. You can send this email to [email protected]. Fastned might verify that you want to change your bank account. You will receive a confirmation per e-mail when the change has been made.

How do I change my contact details?

A change in your contact details can be send to [email protected]. Please let us know that you are a bond holder.

What happens with my bonds after I pass away?

Your bonds are part of your capital and will be inherited by your heirs. To execute this, Fastned needs to receive an official confirmation per e-mail. Fastned will then send a form to change the ownership of the bonds. In case there is more than one heir, Fastned needs to receive such a form per heir. The heir will receive a confirmation after the changes have been made in the register. Please contact us by using the following e-mail address [email protected]
