Fastned expects to open its 250th station in the first weeks of 2023

Amsterdam, December 15, 2022. Fastned, the European fast charging company, expects to open its 250th station in the first weeks of 2023, instead of reaching this milestone before year end 2022 as forecasted earlier this year. Fastned has over 30 stations currently under construction that are near completion and we now expect to open between 55 and 60 new stations in total in 2022, which is a significant increase in our roll-out pace.

The reasons for the delayed opening of stations vary and will only have a small impact on the planned opening schedule. At the end of this year, Fastned now expects its total network to comprise 240-245 stations, having added a record number of new stations, among them the biggest stations in the network.

A further update will be given on 12 January 2023, when Fastned will present its 4Q22 Quarterly Update.
